Simple DOI question from a newbie

Postby SharonRobinson » Mon Aug 26, 2013 4:23 am

Hi,

My institution has recently launched an OJS journal. I'm the library support in this enterprise. We are about to assign DOIs, but I'm confused about which option/s we should be checking in section 4.3 of the journal set up (Identification of content). The options are below.

Custom identifiers will be used to identify issues.
Custom identifiers will be used to identify published items.
Custom identifiers will be used to identify galleys (e.g. HTML or PDF files) for published items.
Custom identifiers will be used to identify supplemental article files.

Any advice/clarification would be gratefully received.

Hi Sharon,

Have a look at http://pkp.sfu.ca/wiki/index.php/DOIPluginsDocumentation.
