African Journals Online (AJOL), Grahamstown

AJOL is a database of journals published in Africa, covering the full range of academic disciplines. The objective of AJOL is to give greater visibility to the participating journals, and to the research they convey.

Carpet is providing the technical platform for our German language support forum.



Dataverse Project, Harvard
The Dataverse Project is a development initiative led by Gary King, David Florence Professor of Government, Harvard University. The Project facilitates the online management, analysis, preservation and dissemination of scholarly research data. PKP and the Dataverse Project are investigating ways in which our software can interact with and support each other.

Ensuring search-ability of OJS journals plus incorporation of Google Scholar resources into OJS Reading Tools and development of back issues initiative for Canadian journals.



International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP), Oxford

INASP Provides OJS software for use by the African Journals Online program which currently hosts 271 African journals, with new initiatives underway for a similar program encompassing Vietnam, Nepal, and Bangladesh.



LOCKSS, Stanford
Ensuring archiving abilities for the content in OJS journals through use of LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) software with participating libraries worldwide.


Open Knowledge Society, Kerala

Promotes open access and supports organizations in establishing their institutional repositories and scholarly journal publishing.



Red de Revistas Científicas de América Latina y El Caribe, España y Portugal (Redalyc), Mexico
Redalyc is currently promoting the use of OJS among its 519 journals and has committed two interns to helping with the development of OJS. In the near future, Redalyc will be offering free hosting to journals in Latin America.


Synergies Canada
Synergies Canada is a not-for-profit platform for the publication and the dissemination of research results in social sciences and humanities published in Canada. Major partners include the University of New Brunswick; Université de Montréal/Érudit; University of Toronto; University of Calgary; and Simon Fraser University.
