Author Guidelines
Since its launch in 2007, AU Press has cultivated a strong list of publications in the areas of distance education, labour studies, Métis and Aboriginal studies, gender studies, and the environment. While we welcome superior works of scholarship, regardless of subject area, we have a particular interest in often neglected forms of social and cultural history, including oral history and memoir, and in works that are broadly iconoclastic – that experiment with narrative form and/or challenge received wisdom.
Should you be interested in submitting a manuscript to the Press but are unsure of its suitability you may provide a brief description of the project to the director at director.aupress@athabascau.ca . If the director expresses interest in the project, you will be asked to submit a prospectus, curriculum vitae, and a complete manuscript (please consult the resources listed below for submission details). A final decision to publish will be made after the manuscript has been peer reviewed.
Detailed Author Guidelines are available here.
