Dal giorno 7 al giorno 8 settembre 2013 SI TERRA' IN CAGLIARI IL PRIMO CONGRESSO DI " cornea irregolare e lenti a contatto", una mia idea che maturava da qualche anno... ora realizzabile, due giorni di lavoro teorico e pratico per comprendere al meglio la gestione dei problemi in questi casi di adattamento e verificare con la pratica la loro risoluzione, vi terrò informati su sede, tempi prenottamenti sconti etc. etc. , scrivo ora questo post, dopo aver avuto delibera ufficiale dal Luigi Lupelli, Carlo Tronti, Rolando di Pascale , Pasquale Cirillo, Antonio Calossi, Mauro Frisani, Mario Giovanzana, Andrea Cara e ancora altri relatori si aggiungeranno. Nel gruppo di cornea irregolare di volta in volta ci saranno aggiornamenti su questo importante incontro, altri relatori daranno il loro contributo a questa opera di divulgazione nel campo della "pratica di lenti a contatto", vi terrò aggiornati , con questo primo post domando aiuto al mio stimato collega e caro amico prof. Antonio Calossi, spero possa essere come sempre con tutti noi in questa isola meravigliosa a dare il suo poderoso contributo a questa disciplina, quanto a mare e lenti a contatto la Sardegna ha sempre ospitato i migliori praticanti di lenti a contatto che operano in Italia. Essendo amante delle tradizioni tanto care al mio amato maestro prof. Lupelli, tento in vecchiaia una replica isolana della espansione in conoscenza nella pratica di lenti a contatto ... ( l'argomento principale saranno le lenti a LENTI A GRANDE DIAMETTRO) E TUTTO RUOTERA’ INTORNO ALLA LENTE A CONTATTO RIGIDA ED ALLA CORNEA IRREGOLARE , GRAZIE ANCORA A TUTTI VOI

Gender violence
This congress is aimed at examining the main conceptual frameworks for thinking about gender violence. We invite participants to consider how useful the concept of gender violence is for tackling violence against women. We also particularly encourage papers that will examine the intersections of gender violence with other determinants of inequalities. Papers are invited from researchers working in the area of gender violence, as well as policy makers, practitioners and activists. We feel that this interdisciplinary may help to produce new conceptualisations of gender violence.

The result of Authentic Learning in “Life Social and Environment Subject” :A case study of Bachelor of Public Healt
Problem Statement : Learning in classroom is notable for students to understand the real needs of the patients which results in unsuitable treatment. Thus, the Authentic Learning, must be implemented in order to change their attitudes to understand the real life of patients.
Study purpose : To study the results of students’ attitudes from Authentic Learning.
Methods :A classroom action research, use the Authentic learning . 47 students are sample sizes. Collected data by the report and the opinion questionnaires, analyzed by percentage and descriptive.
Finding and Results :The first is eliminated the students’ bias by looking at the slide to distinguish their thoughts and reality. Found that students tend to determine the answers based on their judgment and experiences. The teacher later point out to their bias.
The second is using the Authentic Learning , assigned each student to interview the villagers on topic “Earning of a living”. The teacher point out the real life of cases. Their opinions are: the activities are both informative and enjoyable.79.56% able to see the true goal of authentic learning, 88.63% express their desire to participate in real observation and 75 % can understand the true meaning of “life” lesson and social integration and the activities are innovative and allow them to conduct an interview without preparing a questionnaire.
Conclusions and Recommendation: Authentic Learning helps the students to overcome their bias to understand themselves and case’s real life . However, in this method, the teachers must be trained in to point out bias.
