The University of Murcia (Spain) is now providing the 3d edition of a course, in Spanish, on using Open Journal Systems in a scholarly publishing environment. Titled Electronic Publishing of Scholar Journals with Open Journal Systems (OJS), the course will explore the current issues surrounding the electronic publishing of scholar journals, and will fully explore the web application OJS.

The course is taught online in a virtual learning environment, and so is open to anyone in the world. Students must have Internet access and an email account for its completion.

The registration period ends on 2 October. The course will begin on November 17 and end on December 27, and counts for 3 ECTS (75 hours of training and practical activities).

People who pass the course will receive an University of Murcia certificate.

La Universidad de Murcia (España) organiza la 3ª edición del curso Edición Digital de Revistas Científicas con Open Journal Systems (OJS), en el que se estudiarán las cuestiones actuales acerca de la edición digital en las revistas científicas y el funcionamiento completo de la aplicación web OJS. Se impartirá íntegramente en español.

El curso se desarrollará a distancia, más concretamente en un entorno de formación virtual, por lo que está abierto a cualquier persona del mundo. El alumno ha de tener acceso a Internet para su realización y cuenta de correo electrónico.

El plazo de matrícula acaba el 2 de octubre. El curso dará inicio el 17 de octubre y finalizará el 27 de noviembre, y tiene una duración de 3 créditos ECTS.

Los alumnos que superen el curso recibirán el título correspondiente en su domicilio.
