(2008)Abstract:
Scientific Journal Publishing in India (SJPI) was a project carried out at the National Center for Science Information (NCSI) of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Conducted from October 2004 to March 2007, SJPI’s objective was to demonstrate electronic publishing of journals through a prototype and disseminate the knowledge gained among the journal publishing community. We also developed a Hindi language interface for the Open Journals System (OJS), an open source e-journals publishing software.
