Do you want to install Lemon8-XML on your server? Installing this program will allow you to edit and convert documents to XML for your journal or conference.

System Requirements

To run L8X 1.0, you will need, installed on your Web server:

• PHP: >= 5.2.4 compiled with libxml and libxsl libraries (L8X may work with PHP 5.1 with reduced functionality)
• MySQL: >= 3.23.23 (including MySQL 4.x)
• Apache: >= 1.3.2x or >= 2.0.4x with mod_rewrite enabled
• Operating system: Any OS that supports the above software, including Linux, BSD, Solaris, Mac OS X, Windows.
• To generate PDF previews, you will need Apache FOP.
• To automatically convert documents (eg. from MS-Word), you will need Docvert installed or a Google Docs account.

As PKP does not have the resources to test every possible combination of software versions and platforms, no guarantee of correct operation or support is implied. We welcome feedback from users who have deployed Lemon8-XML on systems other than those listed above.

If you do not understand these system requirements, consult your department's technical administrator.
