Description Juan Pablo Alperin 2012-07-13 11:50:36 PDT
For example, look at the right hand side of:
http://www.mendeley.com/research/how-to-choose-a-good-scientific-problem/

Can do this through the Mendeley API:

Juan, is that ReaderMeter? For some reason that one seems to have dropped off the web.
Comment 2 Juan Pablo Alperin 2013-01-01 18:03:41 PST
I think that it can be done using the Mendeley API directly, but perhaps using ReaderMeter makes more sense. I haven't looked into ReaderMeter enough to know how easy it would be to implement, but I can't imagine it'd be too complicated.

OK, but that'll require new locale keys (as opposed to a drop-in widget), which aren't possible for 2.4.2 (no translation round). Punting a little further.
Comment 4 Juan Pablo Alperin 2013-01-02 09:37:50 PST
we'd need locale keys either way, right?
Comment 5 Alec Smecher 2013-01-02 09:59:58 PST
Not exactly; if there was a drop-in widget, even if it didn't include all the languages, translating it would be out of scope for us. Or if it was implemented as a plugin, but the Reading Tools don't currently use those structures.
