Regardless of any changes you make to publication dates or the year of the issue itself, the PubMed export only uses the first date entered in that field. 

I tried this on a published issue where there was a typo in the XML file used for NativeImportExport. I made the change to the issue in OJS (and cleared my caches), but the PubMed export only shows the original date.
