There should be a Journal Manager-configurable option to disable our current PDF handling mechanism (that is, display the PDF galley in an object tag in its own view page) in favour of a direct link to the PDF. Several journals have requested this -- note that of course, these journals don't use the RTs. Basically, folks just want an open/save prompt on PDF galley click as an option for them.
