I don't know how easy, or necessary, this is or would be, but I would imagine it would be useful eg. for static pages, and for article view pages with custom IDs. I don't think we could do much for non-custom page URLs, eg. the About page URLs.

James, have you checked whether or not this already works? I can't think of any reason OTOH why it wouldn't.
