Elements in the exported CroffRef XML file -- If the issue/article is not published the publication date in the XML file is a ('default') date, e.g. 01.01.1970 in my installation; -- There is no element "pages" but instead the content of the element "publisher_item" resp. "item_number" contains the page numbers.

Closing this now. CrossRef exports now have page elements, and the date strangeness is a result of having invalid date_published values for articles, which the upgrade query should fix.
