<thetext>(This one came about thanks to http://pkp.sfu.ca/support/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4820&p=18768#p18768 and as such has been filed against OCS, but really applies all across the board. Please feel free to file against PKP if better suited.)

Allow the {Conference/Journal/Press} Manager to selectively allow access to components of their role tasks to Editors/Directors etc. This would be particularly helpful to share subscription/registration/user management/report duties if need be, without necessarily sharing access to all management options.

This could be a one-page table (maybe called Management Access Control, available from Management Home page?), where Managers could check boxes next to each link/line item in the Management Home page. Anything that gets checked would then be available from an Editor/Director's Home page, possibly under and "Extras" or "Management" heading.

Down the road it might even be worth considering allowing access to components on a user- rather than role-based access model, so that eg. an individual user could be set up with Registration management access but nothing else.</thetext>
